Student employee for financial administration

for 6hrs/week

 

The InnBetween is the student chaplaincy in Maastricht. It is an open student community that comes together to have meaningful experiences. This community is brought together in many unique events that are themed around the core fields of arts & culture, science, social responsibility, free time, and sustainability. Everything at The InnBetween is driven by spirituality. We work with a small team that works proactively and complementary to each other towards making the InnBetween a welcoming place where students and organizations can find a place to find some peace, to relax, to have a coffee, a dinner, to find new energy and new questions and insights.

As the Student employee for financial administration you will be at the InnBetween for 1 day per week. You will reimburse declarations of employees and volunteers, as well as pay invoices and keep administration of the payments. You are capable in understanding financial structures and know how organizational budgeting works.

What we offer

We offer a temporary position from May until September via Maastricht University employment agency InterUM for 6hrs/week. Your salary is based on scale 4.0 of the collective labour agreement of the Association of universities in the Netherlands (salary relates to age). The hours can be planned flexible during the week.

 What we ask

  • A professional or native-level of both Dutch and English literacy (spoken and in writing);
  • An organized and punctual mind;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Understanding of computer-software;
  • Experience with bookkeeping or financial administration.
